Betaflight and physics.

Betaflight SITL

The flight controller runs in a separate process. Configure PID, rates, filters and OSD in the original Betaflight App.

USB radio

Use your radio in joystick mode. EdgeTX has a preset mapping for sticks and AUX channels.

8 kHz physics

Mass, center of gravity and inertia are calculated from individual parts. The model accounts for motor thrust and voltage sag.

Motors
and propellers.

Each configuration defines motor and propeller parameters: RPM, thrust, torque and current.

The Air65 II profile uses manufacturer bench data for the 0702 36,000 KV motor with Gemfan 1207 propellers. Parameters without measurements are marked as estimates.

Batteries.

The battery affects mass, balance and voltage under load. You can swap the CineLog30 battery in the hangar.

Profiles define cell count, capacity and internal resistance. Charge depletion is not yet simulated.
